Title

Interior of Unitarian Church, taken from Pulpit (1875)

Description

Image description: A black-and-white stereoscopic photograph of the inside of the First Parish Church. The photo is taken from the pulpit overlooking the empty sanctuary. Rows of pews are visible, as are the side and back balconies. The church organ is at the very back of the room on the balcony. Long, leafy garlands hang from the middle of the ceiling and attach to the side balconies, creating a tent-like effect.
