River Cottage 49 Liberty Street

River Cottage

The house at 49 Liberty Street, known as River Cottage, was the home of Simon and Ann French Brown in Concord. Brown purchased the twenty-acre property in 1847, and Brown improved the farm, planting an orchard and hosting agricultural events including a plowing competition.
