STAR QUILT — Judy Guild from Channel 5's "Chronicle" was part of a film crew that visited the Concord Public Library Nov. 15 to shoot a segment on children's authors, kids and books. The crew focused on the quilt in the Children's Room, which was created by Connecting Threads: The Quilt Project and completed in 1987 to celebrate the new addition to the room. Each of the 35 squares depicts a scene or character from a well-known children's book, and all the squares are signed by the authors. The segment will air in early December.
