National Library Week Celebration in April
We will be celebrting National Library Week from April 14-18 with a number of special activities planned to highlight the importance of books, reading and libraries in our lives. Again this year, students will be making bookmarks about their favorite books. The bookmarks will form the petals in our "Garden of Bloomin' Books" that will be dispayed around the school. We will also be inviting guest readers from the Willard staff to share stories with children during their library classes.
A special treat is in store at the Concord Public Library during National Library Week. Well-known author Brian Jacques of Redwall fame will be appearing on April 18. Author/illustrator Steven Kellogg will speaking and signing books on April 17.
