Description

The highly-anticipated commemorative stamp released for the Concord and Lexington Sesquicentennial celebrations in 1925.

Image description: A vertical rectangular stamp with a blue border. Written around the border in white text is the following: "April 19 150th anniversary celebration of the Concord Fight. The Concord Minute Man." In the center of the stamp is a buff-colored illustration of the Minute Man statue against a white background. On either side of his head are "1775" and "1925," both in black ink.
