Charles E. Bancroft was born in 1846 in Washington, D.C. to George Bancroft and Elizabeth Blaisdell. Both of his parents were born in Massachusetts. Mr. Bancroft worked as a commercial traveler and salesman.
Mr. Bancroft was incarcerated in the Massachusetts State Prison. He died there of intestinal cancer on October 19, 1915, at 69.
